POS Installation for New and Remodeled Restaurants

Opening a new restaurant, adding a location, or replacing an old POS? Getting the technology right from day one prevents a lot of headaches later. We help you choose the right POS and hardware, handle software setup, networking, and staff training — so you open with a system that works.

Choosing the right POS hardware and software

We help you figure out what POS and hardware fit your concept — whether that's quick service, full service, a bar, or a multi-location group. Our recommendations are vendor-neutral, based on what fits your operation, not on what's easiest to sell. You purchase directly from the vendor; we configure and install everything.

We review compatibility before you buy, configure everything before it goes in, and test it with real orders — so there are no surprises on opening day.

  • POS terminals and card readers
  • Handheld devices and tablets for tableside ordering
  • Receipt printers, kitchen printers, and kitchen display screens
  • Network switches, routers, and Wi-Fi access points

Menu and system setup

We build your menu, modifiers, pricing, and taxes, set up kitchen routing so tickets go to the right station, and configure floor plans, employee roles, permissions, and tip settings around how your team will actually work.

Network setup before opening day

The network has to be in place before anything else will work. We design and set up a business-grade network with separate guest and staff Wi-Fi, so your POS, payments, and online orders run reliably from the first service. restaurant network support for details.

Integrations

We connect your POS to delivery platforms, reservations, loyalty, accounting, and payroll before you open, so you're not re-keying orders during your first busy week. POS integrations.

Staff training

We train your team on the system before opening day: taking and modifying orders, splitting checks, voids and comps, closing out, and running reports. Managers get extra time on the settings and reports they'll use every day.

Opening-week checklist

  • Every terminal, handheld, printer, and kitchen screen tested with real orders
  • Menu, prices, and taxes double-checked
  • Card payments and tips tested end to end
  • Delivery and reservation integrations tested
  • Offline mode configured and managers briefed on what to do if the internet drops
  • Documentation of your setup, so nothing lives only in someone's head

Frequently asked questions

How early should we bring you in before opening?

The earlier the better. Ideally, involve us while you're planning the space, so device locations and network equipment can be planned in rather than added later.

Do you sell POS hardware?

We don't sell hardware directly — you purchase from the vendor. What we do is help you figure out exactly what you need before you buy, review compatibility, and then configure and install everything so it works from day one.

Do you install outside the Chicago area?

On-site installations are focused on Chicago and the northwest suburbs, including Cook, Lake, McHenry, and Kane counties. For restaurants elsewhere, we can handle configuration and training remotely.
